호세야
8장
1 나팔을 네 입에 댈지어다 원수가 독수리처럼 여호와의 집에 덮치리니 이는 그들이 내 언약을 어기며 내 율법을 범함이로다
1 Setthe trumpet to your lips!Onelike a vulture is over the house of theLord,becausethey have transgressed my covenantand rebelled against my law.
2 그들이 장차 내게 부르짖기를 나의 하나님이여 우리 이스라엘이 주를 아나이다 하리라
2 To me they cry,My God, we&emdash;Israel&emdash;know you.
3 이스라엘이 이미 선을 버렸으니 원수가 그를 따를 것이라
3 Israel has spurned the good;the enemy shall pursue him.
4 그들이 왕들을 세웠으나 내게서 난 것이 아니며 그들이 지도자들을 세웠으나 내가 모르는 바이며 그들이 또 그 은, 금으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 만들었나니 결국은 파괴되고 말리라
4 They made kings,but not through me.They set up princes, but I knew it not.With their silver and gold they made idolsfor their own destruction.
5 사마리아여 네 송아지는 버려졌느니라 내 진노가 무리를 향하여 타오르나니 그들이 어느 때에야 무죄하겠느냐
5 I havespurned your calf, O Samaria.My anger burns against them.How long will they be incapable of innocence?
6 이것은 이스라엘에서 나고 장인이 만든 것이라 참 신이 아니니 사마리아의 송아지가 산산조각이 나리라
6 For it is from Israel;a craftsman made it;it is not God.The calf of Samariashall be broken to pieces.
7 그들이 바람을 심고 광풍을 거둘 것이라 심은 것이 줄기가 없으며 이삭은 열매를 맺지 못할 것이요 혹시 맺을지라도 이방 사람이 삼키리라
7 Forthey sow the wind,and they shall reap the whirlwind.The standing grain has no heads;it shall yield no flour;if it were to yield,strangers would devour it.
8 이스라엘은 이미 삼켜졌은즉 이제 여러 나라 가운데에 있는 것이 즐겨 쓰지 아니하는 그릇 같도다
8 Israel is swallowed up;already they are among the nationsasa useless vessel.
9 그들이 홀로 떨어진 들나귀처럼 앗수르로 갔고 에브라임이 값 주고 사랑하는 자들을 얻었도다
9 Forthey have gone up to Assyria,a wild donkey wandering alone;Ephraim has hired lovers.
10 그들이 여러 나라에게 값을 주었을지라도 이제 내가 그들을 모으리니 그들은 지도자의 임금이 지워 준 짐으로 말미암아 쇠하기 시작하리라
10 Though they hire allies among the nations,I will soon gather them up.Andthe king and princesshall soon writhebecause of the tribute.
11 에브라임은 죄를 위하여 제단을 많이 만들더니 그 제단이 그에게 범죄하게 하는 것이 되었도다
11 Because Ephraimhas multiplied altars for sinning,they have become to him altars for sinning.
12 내가 그를 위하여 내 율법을 만 가지로 기록하였으나 그들은 이상한 것으로 여기도다
12 Were I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands,they would be regarded as a strange thing.
13 그들이 내게 고기를 제물로 드리고 먹을지라도 여호와는 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 이제 그들의 죄악을 기억하여 그 죄를 벌하리니 그들은 애굽으로 다시 가리라
13 As for my sacrificial offerings,they sacrifice meat and eat it,but theLorddoes not accept them.Now he will remember their iniquityand punish their sins;they shall return to Egypt.
14 이스라엘은 자기를 지으신 이를 잊어버리고 왕궁들을 세웠으며 유다는 견고한 성읍을 많이 쌓았으나 내가 그 성읍들에 불을 보내어 그 성들을 삼키게 하리라
14 ForIsrael has forgottenhis Makerandbuilt palaces,andJudah has multiplied fortified cities;soI will send a fire upon his cities,and it shall devour her strongholds.
9장
1 이스라엘아 너는 이방 사람처럼 기뻐 뛰놀지 말라 네가 음행하여 네 하나님을 떠나고 각 타작 마당에서 음행의 값을 좋아하였느니라
1 Rejoice not, O Israel!Exult not like the peoples;for you have played the whore, forsaking your God.You have loved a prostitute's wageson all threshing floors.
2 타작 마당이나 술틀이 그들을 기르지 못할 것이며 새 포도주도 떨어질 것이요
2 Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them,andthe new wine shall fail them.
3 그들은 여호와의 땅에 거주하지 못하며 에브라임은 애굽으로 다시 가고 앗수르에서 더러운 것을 먹을 것이니라
3 They shall not remain inthe land of theLord,butEphraim shall return to Egypt,andthey shall eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 그들은 여호와께 포도주를 부어 드리지 못하며 여호와께서 기뻐하시는 바도 되지 못할 것이라 그들의 제물은 애곡하는 자의 떡과 같아서 그것을 먹는 자는 더러워지나니 그들의 떡은 자기의 먹기에만 소용될 뿐이라 여호와의 집에 드릴 것이 아님이니라
4 They shall not pour drink offerings of wine to theLord,and their sacrifices shall not please him.It shall be likemourners' bread to them;all who eat of it shall be defiled;for their bread shall be for their hunger only;it shall not come to the house of theLord.
5 너희는 명절 날과 여호와의 절기의 날에 무엇을 하겠느냐
5 What will you do on the day of the appointed festival,and on the day of the feast of theLord?
6 보라 그들이 멸망을 피하여 갈지라도 애굽은 그들을 모으고 놉은 그들을 장사하리니 그들의 은은 귀한 것이나 찔레가 덮을 것이요 그들의 장막 안에는 가시덩굴이 퍼지리라
6 For behold, they are going away from destruction;butEgypt shall gather them;Memphis shall bury them.Nettles shall possesstheir precious things of silver;thorns shall be in their tents.
7 형벌의 날이 이르렀고 보응의 날이 온 것을 이스라엘이 알지라 선지자가 어리석었고 신에 감동하는 자가 미쳤나니 이는 네 죄악이 많고 네 원한이 큼이니라
7 The days of punishment have come;the days of recompense have come;Israel shall know it.The prophet is a fool;the man of the spirit is mad,because of your great iniquityand great hatred.
8 에브라임은 나의 하나님과 함께 한 파수꾼이며 선지자는 모든 길에 친 새 잡는 자의 그물과 같고 그의 하나님의 전에는 원한이 있도다
8 The prophet isthe watchman of Ephraim with my God;yeta fowler's snare is on all his ways,and hatred in the house of his God.
9 그들은 기브아의 시대와 같이 심히 부패한지라 여호와께서 그 악을 기억하시고 그 죄를 벌하시리라
9 They have deeply corrupted themselvesasin the days of Gibeah:he will remember their iniquity;he will punish their sins.
10 옛적에 내가 이스라엘을 만나기를 광야에서 포도를 만남 같이 하였으며 너희 조상들을 보기를 무화과나무에서 처음 맺힌 첫 열매를 봄 같이 하였거늘 그들이 바알브올에 가서 부끄러운 우상에게 몸을 드림으로 저희가 사랑하는 우상 같이 가증하여졌도다
10 Like grapes in the wilderness,I found Israel.Like the first fruit on the fig treein its first season,I saw your fathers.Butthey came to Baal-peorandconsecrated themselves to the thing of shame,andbecame detestable like the thing they loved.
11 에브라임의 영광이 새 같이 날아 가리니 해산하는 것이나 아이 배는 것이나 임신하는 것이 없으리라
11 Ephraim'sglory shall fly away like a bird&emdash;no birth, no pregnancy, no conception!
12 혹 그들이 자식을 기를지라도 내가 그 자식을 없이하여 한 사람도 남기지 아니할 것이라 내가 그들을 떠나는 때에는 그들에게 화가 미치리로다
12 Even if they bring up children,I will bereave them till none is left.Woe to themwhenI depart from them!
13 내가 보건대 에브라임은 아름다운 곳에 심긴 두로와 같으나 그 자식들을 살인하는 자에게로 끌어내리로다
13 Ephraim,as I have seen, was like a young palmplanted in a meadow;butEphraim must lead his children out to slaughter.
14 여호와여 그들에게 주소서 무엇을 주시려 하나이까 아이 배지 못하는 태와 젖 없는 유방을 주시옵소서
14 Give them, OLord&emdash;what will you give?Give thema miscarrying womband dry breasts.
15 그들의 모든 악이 길갈에 있으므로 내가 거기에서 그들을 미워하였노라 그들의 행위가 악하므로 내 집에서 그들을 쫓아내고 다시는 사랑하지 아니하리라 그들의 지도자들은 다 반역한 자니라
15 Every evil of theirs is inGilgal;there I began to hate them.Because of the wickedness of their deedsI will drive them out of my house.I will love them no more;alltheir princes arerebels.
16 에브라임은 매를 맞아 그 뿌리가 말라 열매를 맺지 못하나니 비록 아이를 낳을지라도 내가 그 사랑하는 태의 열매를 죽이리라
16 Ephraim is stricken;their root is dried up;they shall bear no fruit.Eventhough they give birth,I will put their beloved children to death.
17 그들이 듣지 아니하므로 내 하나님이 그들을 버리시리니 그들이 여러 나라 가운데에 떠도는 자가 되리라
17 My God will reject thembecause they have not listened to him;they shall be wanderers among the nations.요한삼서
1장
9 내가 두어 자를 교회에 썼으나 그들 중에 으뜸되기를 좋아하는 디오드레베가 우리를 맞아들이지 아니하니
9 I have written something to the church, but Diotrephes, who likes to put himself first, does not acknowledge our authority.
10 그러므로 내가 가면 그 행한 일을 잊지 아니하리라 그가 악한 말로 우리를 비방하고도 오히려 부족하여 형제들을 맞아들이지도 아니하고 맞아들이고자 하는 자를 금하여 교회에서 내쫓는도다
10 So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, talking wicked nonsense against us. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the church.
11 사랑하는 자여 악한 것을 본받지 말고 선한 것을 본받으라 선을 행하는 자는 하나님께 속하고 악을 행하는 자는 하나님을 뵈옵지 못하였느니라
11 Beloved,do not imitate evil but imitate good.Whoever does good is from God;whoever does evil has not seen God.
12 데메드리오는 뭇 사람에게도, 진리에게서도 증거를 받았으매 우리도 증언하노니 너는 우리의 증언이 참된 줄을 아느니라
12 Demetriushas received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself. We also add our testimony, andyou know that our testimony is true.
13 내가 네게 쓸 것이 많으나 먹과 붓으로 쓰기를 원하지 아니하고
13 I had much to write to you, but I would rather not write with pen and ink.
14 속히 보기를 바라노니 또한 우리가 대면하여 말하리라
14 I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face.
15 평강이 네게 있을지어다 여러 친구가 네게 문안하느니라 너는 친구들의 이름을 들어 문안하라
15 Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends,each by name.
