아모스
1장
1 유다 왕 웃시야의 시대 곧 이스라엘 왕 요아스의 아들 여로보암의 시대 지진 전 이년에 드고아 목자 중 아모스가 이스라엘에 대하여 이상으로 받은 말씀이라
1 The words of Amos, who was among theshepherdsofTekoa, which he saw concerning Israelin the days ofUzziah king of Judah and in the days ofJeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two yearsbeforethe earthquake.
2 그가 이르되 여호와께서 시온에서부터 부르짖으시며 예루살렘에서부터 소리를 내시리니 목자의 초장이 마르고 갈멜 산 꼭대기가 마르리로다
2 And he said:TheLordroars from Zionand utters his voice from Jerusalem;the pastures of the shepherds mourn,and thetop ofCarmel withers.
3 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 다메섹의 서너 가지 죄로 말미암아 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 철 타작기로 타작하듯 길르앗을 압박하였음이라
3 Thus says theLord:For three transgressions ofDamascus,and for four,I will not revoke the punishment,because they have threshedGileadwith threshing sledges of iron.
4 내가 하사엘의 집에 불을 보내리니 벤하닷의 궁궐들을 사르리라
4 So I will send a fire upon the house ofHazael,and it shall devour the strongholds ofBen-hadad.
5 내가 다메섹의 빗장을 꺾으며 아웬 골짜기에서 그 주민들을 끊으며 벧에덴에서 규 잡은 자를 끊으리니 아람 백성이 사로잡혀 기르에 이르리라 여호와께서 말씀하셨느니라
5 I willbreak the gate-bar ofDamascus,and cut off the inhabitants from the Valley ofAven,and him who holds the scepter fromBeth-eden;and the people ofSyria shall go into exile toKir,says theLord.
6 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 가사의 서너 가지 죄로 말미암아 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 모든 사로잡은 자를 끌어 에돔에 넘겼음이라
6 Thus says theLord:For three transgressions ofGaza,and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,becausethey carried into exile a whole peopleto deliver them up to Edom.
7 내가 가사 성에 불을 보내리니 그 궁궐들을 사르리라
7 So I will send a fire upon the wall ofGaza,and it shall devour her strongholds.
8 내가 또 아스돗에서 그 주민들과 아스글론에서 규를 잡은 자를 끊고 또 손을 돌이켜 에그론을 치리니 블레셋의 남아 있는 자가 멸망하리라 주 여호와께서 말씀하셨느니라
8 I will cut off the inhabitants fromAshdod,and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon;I will turn my hand against Ekron,and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,says the LordGod.
9 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 두로의 서너 가지 죄로 말미암아 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 그 형제의 계약을 기억하지 아니하고 모든 사로잡은 자를 에돔에 넘겼음이라
9 Thus says theLord:For three transgressions ofTyre,and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,because they delivered up a whole people to Edom,and did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.
10 내가 두로 성에 불을 보내리니 그 궁궐들을 사르리라
10 So I will send a fire upon the wall ofTyre,and it shall devour her strongholds.
11 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 에돔의 서너 가지 죄로 말미암아 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니 이는 그가 칼로 그의 형제를 쫓아가며 긍휼을 버리며 항상 맹렬히 화를 내며 분을 끝없이 품었음이라
11 Thus says theLord:For three transgressions ofEdom,and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,because he pursued his brother with the swordand cast off all pity,and his anger tore perpetually,and he kept his wrath forever.
12 내가 데만에 불을 보내리니 보스라의 궁궐들을 사르리라
12 So I will send a fire uponTeman,and it shall devour the strongholds ofBozrah.
13 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 암몬 자손의 서너 가지 죄로 말미암아 내가 그 벌을 돌이키지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 자기 지경을 넓히고자 하여 길르앗의 아이 밴 여인의 배를 갈랐음이니라
13 Thus says theLord:For three transgressions of theAmmonites,and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,becausethey have ripped open pregnant women inGilead,that they might enlarge their border.
14 내가 랍바 성에 불을 놓아 그 궁궐들을 사르되 전쟁의 날에 외침과 회오리바람의 날에 폭풍으로 할 것이며
14 So I will kindle a fire in the wall ofRabbah,and it shall devour her strongholds,with shouting on the day of battle,with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;
15 그들의 왕은 그 지도자들과 함께 사로잡혀 가리라 여호와께서 말씀하셨느니라
15 andtheir king shall go into exile,he and his princestogether,says theLord.요한계시록
3장
1 사데 교회의 사자에게 편지하라 하나님의 일곱 영과 일곱 별을 가지신 이가 이르시되 내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 살았다 하는 이름은 가졌으나 죽은 자로다
1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:The words of himwho has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.I know your works. You have the reputationof being alive,but you are dead.
2 너는 일깨어 그 남은 바 죽게 된 것을 굳건하게 하라 내 하나님 앞에 네 행위의 온전한 것을 찾지 못하였노니
2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your workscomplete in the sight of my God.
3 그러므로 네가 어떻게 받았으며 어떻게 들었는지 생각하고 지켜 회개하라 만일 일깨지 아니하면 내가 도둑 같이 이르리니 어느 때에 네게 이를는지 네가 알지 못하리라
3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up,I will comelike a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.
4 그러나 사데에 그 옷을 더럽히지 아니한 자 몇 명이 네게 있어 흰 옷을 입고 나와 함께 다니리니 그들은 합당한 자인 연고라
4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have notsoiled their garments, and they will walk with mein white, for they areworthy.
5 이기는 자는 이와 같이 흰 옷을 입을 것이요 내가 그 이름을 생명책에서 결코 지우지 아니하고 그 이름을 내 아버지 앞과 그의 천사들 앞에서 시인하리라
5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will neverblot his name out ofthe book of life.I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
6 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
