아모스
3장
1 이스라엘 자손들아 여호와께서 너희에 대하여 이르시는 이 말씀을 들으라 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 올리신 모든 족속에 대하여 이르시기를
1 Hear this word that theLordhas spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:
2 내가 땅의 모든 족속 가운데 너희만을 알았나니 그러므로 내가 너희 모든 죄악을 너희에게 보응하리라 하셨나니
2 You only have I knownof all the families of the earth;therefore I will punish youfor all your iniquities.
3 두 사람이 뜻이 같지 않은데 어찌 동행하겠으며
3 Do two walk together,unless they have agreed to meet?
4 사자가 움킨 것이 없는데 어찌 수풀에서 부르짖겠으며 젊은 사자가 잡은 것이 없는데 어찌 굴에서 소리를 내겠느냐
4 Does a lion roar in the forest,when he has no prey?Does a young lion cry out from his den,if he has taken nothing?
5 덫을 땅에 놓지 않았는데 새가 어찌 거기 치이겠으며 잡힌 것이 없는데 덫이 어찌 땅에서 튀겠느냐
5 Does a bird fall in a snare on the earth,when there is no trap for it?Does a snare spring up from the ground,when it has taken nothing?
6 성읍에서 나팔이 울리는데 백성이 어찌 두려워하지 아니하겠으며 여호와의 행하심이 없는데 재앙이 어찌 성읍에 임하겠느냐
6 Is a trumpet blown in a city,and the people are not afraid?Does disaster come to a city,unless theLordhas done it?
7 주 여호와께서는 자기의 비밀을 그 종 선지자들에게 보이지 아니하시고는 결코 행하심이 없으시리라
7 For the LordGoddoes nothingwithout revealing his secretto his servants the prophets.
8 사자가 부르짖은즉 누가 두려워하지 아니하겠느냐 주 여호와께서 말씀하신즉 누가 예언하지 아니하겠느냐
8 The lion has roared;who will not fear?The LordGodhas spoken;who can but prophesy?
9 아스돗의 궁궐들과 애굽 땅의 궁궐들에 선포하여 이르기를 너희는 사마리아 산들에 모여 그 성 중에서 얼마나 큰 요란함과 학대함이 있나 보라 하라
9 Proclaim to the strongholds inAshdodand to the strongholds in the land of Egypt,and say,Assemble yourselves onthe mountains of Samaria,and see the great tumults within her,andthe oppressed in her midst.
10 자기 궁궐에서 포학과 겁탈을 쌓는 자들이 바른 일 행할 줄을 모르느니라 여호와의 말씀이니라
10 They do not know how to do right,declares theLord,those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.
11 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 이 땅 사면에 대적이 있어 네 힘을 쇠하게 하며 네 궁궐을 약탈하리라
11 Therefore thus says the LordGod:An adversary shall surround the landand bring downyour defenses from you,andyour strongholds shall be plundered.
12 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 목자가 사자 입에서 양의 두 다리나 귀 조각을 건져냄과 같이 사마리아에서 침상 모서리에나 걸상의 방석에 앉은 이스라엘 자손도 건져냄을 입으리라
12 Thus says theLord:As the shepherd rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear,so shall the people of Israelwho dwell in Samaria be rescued, with the corner of a couch and partof a bed.
13 주 여호와 만군의 하나님의 말씀이니라 너희는 듣고 야곱의 족속에게 증언하라
13 Hear,and testify against the house of Jacob,declares the LordGod,the God of hosts,
14 내가 이스라엘의 모든 죄를 보응하는 날에 벧엘의 제단들을 벌하여 그 제단의 뿔들을 꺾어 땅에 떨어뜨리고
14 that on the day I punish Israel for his transgressions,I will punish the altars of Bethel,andthe horns of the altar shall be cut offand fall to the ground.
15 겨울 궁과 여름 궁을 치리니 상아 궁들이 파괴되며 큰 궁들이 무너지리라 여호와의 말씀이니라
15 I will strikethe winter house along withthe summer house,andthe houses of ivory shall perish,and the great housesshall come to an end,declares theLord.요한계시록
3장
14 라오디게아 교회의 사자에게 편지하라 아멘이시요 충성되고 참된 증인이시요 하나님의 창조의 근본이신 이가 이르시되
14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:The words of theAmen,the faithful and true witness,the beginning of God's creation.
15 내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 차지도 아니하고 뜨겁지도 아니하도다 네가 차든지 뜨겁든지 하기를 원하노라
15 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot.Would that you were either cold or hot!
16 네가 이같이 미지근하여 뜨겁지도 아니하고 차지도 아니하니 내 입에서 너를 토하여 버리리라
16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
17 네가 말하기를 나는 부자라 부요하여 부족한 것이 없다 하나 네 곤고한 것과 가련한 것과 가난한 것과 눈 먼 것과 벌거벗은 것을 알지 못하는도다
17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor,blind, and naked.
18 내가 너를 권하노니 내게서 불로 연단한 금을 사서 부요하게 하고 흰 옷을 사서 입어 벌거벗은 수치를 보이지 않게 하고 안약을 사서 눈에 발라 보게 하라
18 I counsel youto buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, andwhite garments so that you may clothe yourself andthe shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes,so that you may see.
19 무릇 내가 사랑하는 자를 책망하여 징계하노니 그러므로 네가 열심을 내라 회개하라
19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
20 볼지어다 내가 문 밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그와 더불어 먹고 그는 나와 더불어 먹으리라
20 Behold, I stand at the door andknock.If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
21 이기는 그에게는 내가 내 보좌에 함께 앉게 하여 주기를 내가 이기고 아버지 보좌에 함께 앉은 것과 같이 하리라
21 The one who conquers,I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, asI also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
22 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
