하박국
1장
1 선지자 하박국이 묵시로 받은 경고라
1 The oracle that Habakkuk the prophet saw.
2 여호와여 내가 부르짖어도 주께서 듣지 아니하시니 어느 때까지리이까 내가 강포로 말미암아 외쳐도 주께서 구원하지 아니하시나이다
2 OLord,how long shall I cry for help,and you will not hear?Or cry to youViolence!and you will not save?
3 어찌하여 내게 죄악을 보게 하시며 패역을 눈으로 보게 하시나이까 겁탈과 강포가 내 앞에 있고 변론과 분쟁이 일어났나이다
3 Why do you make me see iniquity,and why do you idly look at wrong?Destructionand violence are before me;strife and contention arise.
4 이러므로 율법이 해이하고 정의가 전혀 시행되지 못하오니 이는 악인이 의인을 에워쌌으므로 정의가 굽게 행하여짐이니이다
4 So the law is paralyzed,and justice never goes forth.For the wicked surround the righteous;so justice goes forth perverted.
5 여호와께서 이르시되 너희는 여러 나라를 보고 또 보고 놀라고 또 놀랄지어다 너희의 생전에 내가 한 가지 일을 행할 것이라 누가 너희에게 말할지라도 너희가 믿지 아니하리라
5 Look among the nations, and see;wonder and be astounded.For I am doing a work in your daysthat you would not believe if told.
6 보라 내가 사납고 성급한 백성 곧 땅이 넓은 곳으로 다니며 자기의 소유가 아닌 거처들을 점령하는 갈대아 사람을 일으켰나니
6 For behold,I am raising up the Chaldeans,that bitter and hasty nation,who march through the breadth of the earth,to seize dwellings not their own.
7 그들은 두렵고 무서우며 당당함과 위엄이 자기들에게서 나오며
7 They are dreaded and fearsome;their justice and dignity go forth from themselves.
8 그들의 군마는 표범보다 빠르고 저녁 이리보다 사나우며 그들의 마병은 먼 곳에서부터 빨리 달려오는 마병이라 마치 먹이를 움키려 하는 독수리의 날음과 같으니라
8 Their horses are swifter than leopards,more fierce thanthe evening wolves;their horsemen press proudly on.Their horsemen come from afar;they fly like an eagle swift to devour.
9 그들은 다 강포를 행하러 오는데 앞을 향하여 나아가며 사람을 사로잡아 모으기를 모래 같이 많이 할 것이요
9 They all comefor violence,all their faces forward.They gather captiveslike sand.
10 왕들을 멸시하며 방백을 조소하며 모든 견고한 성들을 비웃고 흉벽을 쌓아 그것을 점령할 것이라
10 At kings they scoff,and at rulers they laugh.They laugh at every fortress,forthey pile up earth and take it.
11 그들은 자기들의 힘을 자기들의 신으로 삼는 자들이라 이에 바람 같이 급히 몰아 지나치게 행하여 범죄하리라
11 Then they sweep by like the wind and go on,guilty men,whose own might is their god!
12 선지자가 이르되 여호와 나의 하나님, 나의 거룩한 이시여 주께서는 만세 전부터 계시지 아니하시니이까 우리가 사망에 이르지 아니하리이다 여호와여 주께서 심판하기 위하여 그들을 두셨나이다 반석이시여 주께서 경계하기 위하여 그들을 세우셨나이다
12 Are you notfrom everlasting,OLordmy God, my Holy One?We shall not die.OLord,you have ordained them as a judgment,and you, ORock, have established them for reproof.
13 주께서는 눈이 정결하시므로 악을 차마 보지 못하시며 패역을 차마 보지 못하시거늘 어찌하여 거짓된 자들을 방관하시며 악인이 자기보다 의로운 사람을 삼키는데도 잠잠하시나이까
13 You who areof purer eyes than to see eviland cannot look at wrong,why do you idly look at traitorsandremain silent when the wicked swallows upthe man more righteous than he?
14 주께서 어찌하여 사람을 바다의 고기 같게 하시며 다스리는 자 없는 벌레 같게 하시나이까
14 You make mankind like the fish of the sea,like crawling things that have no ruler.
15 그가 낚시로 모두 낚으며 그물로 잡으며 투망으로 모으고 그리고는 기뻐하고 즐거워하여
15 Hebrings all of them upwith a hook;he drags them out with his net;he gathers them in his dragnet;so he rejoices and is glad.
16 그물에 제사하며 투망 앞에 분향하오니 이는 그것을 힘입어 소득이 풍부하고 먹을 것이 풍성하게 됨이니이다
16 Therefore he sacrifices to his netand makes offerings to his dragnet;for by them he lives in luxury,and his food is rich.
17 그가 그물을 떨고는 계속하여 여러 나라를 무자비하게 멸망시키는 것이 옳으니이까
17 Is he then to keep on emptying his netand mercilessly killing nations forever?
2장
1 내가 내 파수하는 곳에 서며 성루에 서리라 그가 내게 무엇이라 말씀하실는지 기다리고 바라보며 나의 질문에 대하여 어떻게 대답하실는지 보리라 하였더니
1 I willtake my stand at my watchpostand station myself on the tower,andlook out to seewhat he will say to me,and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
2 여호와께서 내게 대답하여 이르시되 너는 이 묵시를 기록하여 판에 명백히 새기되 달려가면서도 읽을 수 있게 하라
2 And theLordanswered me:Write the vision;make it plain on tablets,so he may run who reads it.
3 이 묵시는 정한 때가 있나니 그 종말이 속히 이르겠고 결코 거짓되지 아니하리라 비록 더딜지라도 기다리라 지체되지 않고 반드시 응하리라
3 For stillthe vision awaits its appointed time;it hastens to the end&emdash;it will not lie.If it seems slow,wait for it;it will surely come; it will not delay.
4 보라 그의 마음은 교만하며 그 속에서 정직하지 못하나 의인은 그의 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라
4 Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,butthe righteous shall live by his faith.
5 그는 술을 즐기며 거짓되고 교만하여 가만히 있지 아니하고 스올처럼 자기의 욕심을 넓히며 또 그는 사망 같아서 족한 줄을 모르고 자기에게로 여러 나라를 모으며 여러 백성을 모으나니
5 Moreover, wineisa traitor,an arrogant man who is never at rest.His greed is as wide as Sheol;like deathhe has never enough.He gathers for himself all nationsand collects as his own all peoples.
6 그 무리가 다 속담으로 그를 평론하며 조롱하는 시로 그를 풍자하지 않겠느냐 곧 이르기를 화 있을진저 자기 소유 아닌 것을 모으는 자여 언제까지 이르겠느냐 볼모 잡은 것으로 무겁게 짐진 자여
6 Shall not all thesetake up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say,Woe to himwho heaps up what is not his own&emdash;forhow long?&emdash;andloads himself with pledges!
7 너를 억누를 자들이 갑자기 일어나지 않겠느냐 너를 괴롭힐 자들이 깨어나지 않겠느냐 네가 그들에게 노략을 당하지 않겠느냐
7 Will not your debtors suddenly arise,and those awake who will make you tremble?Then you will be spoil for them.
8 네가 여러 나라를 노략하였으므로 그 모든 민족의 남은 자가 너를 노략하리니 이는 네가 사람의 피를 흘렸음이요 또 땅과 성읍과 그 안의 모든 주민에게 강포를 행하였음이니라
8 Because you have plundered many nations,all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you,for the blood of man andviolence to the earth,to cities and all who dwell in them.
9 재앙을 피하기 위하여 높은 데 깃들이려 하며 자기 집을 위하여 부당한 이익을 취하는 자에게 화 있을진저
9 Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house,toset his nest on high,to be safe from the reach of harm!
10 네가 많은 민족을 멸한 것이 네 집에 욕을 부르며 네 영혼에게 죄를 범하게 하는 것이 되었도다
10 You have devised shame for your houseby cutting off many peoples;you have forfeited your life.
11 담에서 돌이 부르짖고 집에서 들보가 응답하리라
11 Forthe stone will cry out from the wall,and the beam from the woodwork respond.
12 피로 성읍을 건설하며 불의로 성을 건축하는 자에게 화 있을진저
12 Woe to himwho builds a town with bloodand founds a city on iniquity!
13 민족들이 불탈 것으로 수고하는 것과 나라들이 헛된 일로 피곤하게 되는 것이 만군의 여호와께로 말미암음이 아니냐
13 Behold, is it not from theLordof hoststhatpeoples labor merely for fire,and nations weary themselves for nothing?
14 이는 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와의 영광을 인정하는 것이 세상에 가득함이니라
14 For the earth will be filledwith the knowledge ofthe glory of theLordas the waters cover the sea.
15 이웃에게 술을 마시게 하되 자기의 분노를 더하여 그에게 취하게 하고 그 하체를 드러내려 하는 자에게 화 있을진저
15 Woe to himwho makes his neighbors drink&emdash;you pour out your wrath and make them drunk,in order to gazeat their nakedness!
16 네게 영광이 아니요 수치가 가득한즉 너도 마시고 너의 할례 받지 아니한 것을 드러내라 여호와의 오른손의 잔이 네게로 돌아올 것이라 더러운 욕이 네 영광을 가리리라
16 You will have your fillof shame instead of glory.Drink, yourself, and show your uncircumcision!The cup in theLord's right handwill come around to you,andutter shame will come upon your glory!
17 이는 네가 레바논에 강포를 행한 것과 짐승을 죽인 것 곧 사람의 피를 흘리며 땅과 성읍과 그 안의 모든 주민에게 강포를 행한 것이 네게로 돌아오리라
17 The violencedone to Lebanon will overwhelm you,as will the destruction of the beasts that terrified them,for the blood of man and violence to the earth,to cities and all who dwell in them.
18 새긴 우상은 그 새겨 만든 자에게 무엇이 유익하겠느냐 부어 만든 우상은 거짓 스승이라 만든 자가 이 말하지 못하는 우상을 의지하니 무엇이 유익하겠느냐
18 What profit is an idolwhen its maker has shaped it,a metal image,a teacher of lies?For its maker trusts in his own creationwhen he makesspeechless idols!
19 나무에게 깨라 하며 말하지 못하는 돌에게 일어나라 하는 자에게 화 있을진저 그것이 교훈을 베풀겠느냐 보라 이는 금과 은으로 입힌 것인즉 그 속에는 생기가 도무지 없느니라
19 Woe to himwho says to a wooden thing, Awake;to a silent stone, Arise!Can this teach?Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver,andthere is no breath at all in it.
20 오직 여호와는 그 성전에 계시니 온 땅은 그 앞에서 잠잠할지니라 하시니라
20 ButtheLordis in his holy temple;let all the earth keep silence before him.요한계시록
12장
1 하늘에 큰 이적이 보이니 해를 옷 입은 한 여자가 있는데 그 발 아래에는 달이 있고 그 머리에는 열두 별의 관을 썼더라
1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a womanclothed withthe sun, withthe moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 이 여자가 아이를 배어 해산하게 되매 아파서 애를 쓰며 부르짖더라
2 She was pregnant andwas crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.
3 하늘에 또 다른 이적이 보이니 보라 한 큰 붉은 용이 있어 머리가 일곱이요 뿔이 열이라 그 여러 머리에 일곱 왕관이 있는데
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a greatred dragon,with seven heads andten horns, and on his headsseven diadems.
4 그 꼬리가 하늘의 별 삼분의 일을 끌어다가 땅에 던지더라 용이 해산하려는 여자 앞에서 그가 해산하면 그 아이를 삼키고자 하더니
4 His tail swept downa third of the stars of heaven andcast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her childhe might devour it.
5 여자가 아들을 낳으니 이는 장차 철장으로 만국을 다스릴 남자라 그 아이를 하나님 앞과 그 보좌 앞으로 올려가더라
5 She gave birth to a male child,one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child wascaught up to God and to his throne,
6 그 여자가 광야로 도망하매 거기서 천이백육십 일 동안 그를 양육하기 위하여 하나님께서 예비하신 곳이 있더라
6 and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for1,260 days.
