스바냐
1장
1 아몬의 아들 유다 왕 요시야의 시대에 스바냐에게 임한 여호와의 말씀이라 스바냐는 히스기야의 현손이요 아마랴의 증손이요 그다랴의 손자요 구시의 아들이었더라
1 The word of theLordthat came to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, son of Gedaliah, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah,in the days ofJosiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
2 여호와께서 이르시되 내가 땅 위에서 모든 것을 진멸하리라
2 I will utterly sweep away everythingfrom the face of the earth,declares theLord.
3 내가 사람과 짐승을 진멸하고 공중의 새와 바다의 고기와 거치게 하는 것과 악인들을 아울러 진멸할 것이라 내가 사람을 땅 위에서 멸절하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
3 I will sweep awayman and beast;I will sweep away the birds of the heavensandthe fish of the sea,andthe rubblewith the wicked.I willcut off mankindfrom the face of the earth,declares theLord.
4 내가 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 주민들 위에 손을 펴서 남아 있는 바알을 그 곳에서 멸절하며 그마림이란 이름과 및 그 제사장들을 아울러 멸절하며
4 I will stretch out my hand against Judahand against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem;and I will cut off from this place the remnant of Baaland the name of the idolatrous priests along with the priests,
5 또 지붕에서 하늘의 뭇 별에게 경배하는 자들과 경배하며 여호와께 맹세하면서 말감을 가리켜 맹세하는 자들과
5 those who bow down on the roofsto the host of the heavens,those who bow down and swear to theLordand yet swear byMilcom,
6 여호와를 배반하고 따르지 아니한 자들과 여호와를 찾지도 아니하며 구하지도 아니한 자들을 멸절하리라
6 those who have turned back from following theLord,who do not seek theLordor inquire of him.
7 주 여호와 앞에서 잠잠할지어다 이는 여호와의 날이 가까웠으므로 여호와께서 희생을 준비하고 그가 청할 자들을 구별하셨음이니라
7 Be silent before the LordGod!Forthe day of theLordis near;theLordhas prepared a sacrificeandconsecrated his guests.
8 여호와의 희생의 날에 내가 방백들과 왕자들과 이방인의 옷을 입은 자들을 벌할 것이며
8 And on the day of theLord's sacrifice&emdash;I will punish the officials and the king's sonsandall who array themselves in foreign attire.
9 그 날에 문턱을 뛰어넘어서 포악과 거짓을 자기 주인의 집에 채운 자들을 내가 벌하리라
9 On that day I will punisheveryonewho leaps over the threshold,and those who fill their master'shousewith violence and fraud.
10 나 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에 어문에서는 부르짖는 소리가, 제 이 구역에서는 울음 소리가, 작은 산들에서는 무너지는 소리가 일어나리라
10 On that day,declares theLord,a cry will be heard fromthe Fish Gate,a wail fromthe Second Quarter,a loud crash from the hills.
11 막데스 주민들아 너희는 슬피 울라 가나안 백성이 다 패망하고 은을 거래하는 자들이 끊어졌음이라
11 Wail, O inhabitants of the Mortar!For all the tradersare no more;all who weigh out silver are cut off.
12 그 때에 내가 예루살렘에서 찌꺼기 같이 가라앉아서 마음속에 스스로 이르기를 여호와께서는 복도 내리지 아니하시며 화도 내리지 아니하시리라 하는 자를 등불로 두루 찾아 벌하리니
12 At that timeI will search Jerusalem with lamps,and I will punish the menwho are complacent,those who say in their hearts,TheLordwill not do good,nor will he do ill.
13 그들의 재물이 노략되며 그들의 집이 황폐할 것이라 그들이 집을 건축하나 거기에 살지 못하며 포도원을 가꾸나 그 포도주를 마시지 못하리라
13 Their goods shall beplundered,and their houses laid waste.Though they build houses,they shall not inhabit them;though they plant vineyards,they shall not drink wine from them.
14 여호와의 큰 날이 가깝도다 가깝고도 빠르도다 여호와의 날의 소리로다 용사가 거기서 심히 슬피 우는도다
14 The great day of theLordis near,near and hastening fast;the sound of the day of theLordis bitter;the mighty man cries aloud there.
15 그날은 분노의 날이요 환난과 고통의 날이요 황폐와 패망의 날이요 캄캄하고 어두운 날이요 구름과 흑암의 날이요
15 A day of wrath is that day,a day of distress and anguish,a day ofruin and devastation,a day of darkness and gloom,a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 나팔을 불어 경고하며 견고한 성읍들을 치며 높은 망대를 치는 날이로다
16 a day of trumpet blast and battle cryagainst the fortified citiesand against the lofty battlements.
17 내가 사람들에게 고난을 내려 맹인 같이 행하게 하리니 이는 그들이 나 여호와께 범죄하였음이라 또 그들의 피는 쏟아져서 티끌 같이 되며 그들의 살은 분토 같이 될지라
17 I will bring distress on mankind,so that they shall walklike the blind,because they have sinned against theLord;their blood shall be poured out like dust,and their fleshlike dung.
18 그들의 은과 금이 여호와의 분노의 날에 능히 그들을 건지지 못할 것이며 이 온 땅이 여호와의 질투의 불에 삼켜지리니 이는 여호와가 이 땅 모든 주민을 멸절하되 놀랍게 멸절할 것임이라
18 Neither their silver nor their goldshall be able to deliver themon the day of the wrath of theLord.In the fire of his jealousy,all the earth shall be consumed;for a full and sudden endhe will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.
2장
1 수치를 모르는 백성아 모일지어다 모일지어다
1 Gather together, yes, gather,Oshameless nation,
2 명령이 시행되어 날이 겨 같이 지나가기 전, 여호와의 진노가 너희에게 내리기 전, 여호와의 분노의 날이 너희에게 이르기 전에 그리할지어다
2 before the decree takes effect&emdash;before the day passes awaylike chaff&emdash;before there comes upon youthe burning anger of theLord,before there comes upon youthe day of the anger of theLord.
3 여호와의 규례를 지키는 세상의 모든 겸손한 자들아 너희는 여호와를 찾으며 공의와 겸손을 구하라 너희가 혹시 여호와의 분노의 날에 숨김을 얻으리라
3 Seek theLord,all you humble of the land,who do his just commands;seek righteousness; seek humility;perhapsyou may be hiddenon the day of the anger of theLord.
4 가사는 버림을 당하며 아스글론은 폐허가 되며 아스돗은 대낮에 쫓겨나며 에그론은 뽑히리라
4 For Gaza shall be deserted,and Ashkelon shall become a desolation;Ashdod's people shall be driven out at noon,and Ekron shall be uprooted.
5 해변 주민 그렛 족속에게 화 있을진저 블레셋 사람의 땅 가나안아 여호와의 말씀이 너희를 치나니 내가 너를 멸하여 주민이 없게 하리라
5 Woe toyou inhabitants of the seacoast,you nation ofthe Cherethites!The word of theLordis against you,O Canaan, land of the Philistines;and I will destroy youuntil no inhabitant is left.
6 해변은 풀밭이 되어 목자의 움막과 양 떼의 우리가 거기에 있을 것이며
6 And you, O seacoast,shall be pastures,with meadowsfor shepherdsand folds for flocks.
7 그 지경은 유다 족속의 남은 자에게로 돌아갈지라 그들이 거기에서 양 떼를 먹이고 저녁에는 아스글론 집들에 누우리니 이는 그들의 하나님 여호와가 그들을 보살피사 그들이 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 것임이라
7 The seacoast shall become the possessionofthe remnant of the house of Judah,on which they shall graze,and in the houses of Ashkelonthey shall lie down at evening.For theLordtheir Godwill be mindful of themandrestore their fortunes.요한계시록
13장
1 내가 보니 바다에서 한 짐승이 나오는데 뿔이 열이요 머리가 일곱이라 그 뿔에는 열 왕관이 있고 그 머리들에는 신성 모독 하는 이름들이 있더라
1 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea,with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns andblasphemous names on its heads.
2 내가 본 짐승은 표범과 비슷하고 그 발은 곰의 발 같고 그 입은 사자의 입 같은데 용이 자기의 능력과 보좌와 큰 권세를 그에게 주었더라
2 And the beast that I saw waslike a leopard; its feet were likea bear's, and its mouth was likea lion's mouth. And to itthe dragon gave his power andhis throne and great authority.
3 그의 머리 하나가 상하여 죽게 된 것 같더니 그 죽게 되었던 상처가 나으매 온 땅이 놀랍게 여겨 짐승을 따르고
3 One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, andthe whole earth marveled as they followed the beast.
4 용이 짐승에게 권세를 주므로 용에게 경배하며 짐승에게 경배하여 이르되 누가 이 짐승과 같으냐 누가 능히 이와 더불어 싸우리요 하더라
4 And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying,Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?
5 또 짐승이 과장되고 신성 모독을 말하는 입을 받고 또 마흔두 달 동안 일할 권세를 받으니라
5 And the beast was givena mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority forforty-two months.
6 짐승이 입을 벌려 하나님을 향하여 비방하되 그의 이름과 그의 장막 곧 하늘에 사는 자들을 비방하더라
6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,that is, those who dwell in heaven.
7 또 권세를 받아 성도들과 싸워 이기게 되고 각 족속과 백성과 방언과 나라를 다스리는 권세를 받으니
7 Also it was allowedto make war on the saints and to conquer them.And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,
8 죽임을 당한 어린 양의 생명책에 창세 이후로 이름이 기록되지 못하고 이 땅에 사는 자들은 다 그 짐승에게 경배하리라
8 and allwho dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world inthe book of life ofthe Lambwho was slain.
9 누구든지 귀가 있거든 들을지어다
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
10 사로잡힐 자는 사로잡혀 갈 것이요 칼에 죽을 자는 마땅히 칼에 죽을 것이니 성도들의 인내와 믿음이 여기 있느니라
10 If anyone is to be taken captive,to captivity he goes;if anyone is to be slain with the sword,with the sword must he be slain.Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
